The Best Technology Rises to the Top. The LEV has a very space-efficient design because we realize how valuable your living space is. Low overhead clearance and pit requirements keep the LEV design compact.

Most home elevators require a separate area to house the controller and drive system that raises and lowers the elevator car. The LEV eliminates wasted space by mounting the drive system and controller directly inside the top of the hoistway. This conserves valuable living space in your home. And for homes in areas subject to flooding, having the drive mounted on top of the hoistway is an added benefit.

The LEV has a geared machine drive with counterweight system that allows for a smooth, secure ride and the ability to lift up to 950 lbs. The LEV can travel up to 50 feet - providing basement to top story access with service up to five stops.

The LEV has been safety-tested by our team of exacting elevator engineers to ensure its reliability and durability. Your safety is their overriding concern. Every LEV comes equipped with standard safety devices like hoistway door interlocks, a slack chain safety to stop and hold the elevator car, and an emergency light and alarm. An Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and auto lowering are standard. The LEV monitors its performance to help prevent problems before they occur.

Your LEV elevator car is a reflection of your home and its design. That's why we offer three standard car styles to start designing from - durable melamine, wood veneer or raised wood wall panels.

Your LEV is a complete home elevator. All standard car designs include a single accordion car gate in choice of champagne, chalk, light oak, oak or white finish; two recessed car lights; wooden handrail; plywood floor; car operating panel and hall stations in choice of finish; battery backup emergency light and alarm; stop switch; automatic car lighting, digital floor position indicator and a telephone.

As your authorized Access Industries Elevator Contractor, we can work directly with you and your builder to create the perfect blend of beauty and function for your home.

For a unique look, opt for an accordion car gate with vision panels. Add an auto gate operator for 'hands free' convenience. It slides the gate open and closed at each landing. And for your safety, it will auto-reverse if the light beam safety curtain encounters an obstruction.

You can control usage of your elevator by adding key operation on the hall stations and car controls.

You can substitute the standard wooden handrail with a metal handrail in choice of four finishes. For your in-car phone, consider adding a brass or stainless steel recessed phone box.
