The Limited Use/Limited Application (LU/LA) low rise elevator was created to fill the void between the large commercial elevator and the vertical platform lift.  Some of the greatest challenges that face architects and specification writers today, include meeting the necessary code requirements, budgetary constraints and space limitations in new and alteration construction.  Using a CHE LU/LA allows you to take the guesswork out of integrating an ASME A17.1 LU/LA Elevator into your application.

The LU/LA is equipped with automatic power sliding commercial styled doors.  The returns area constructed out of durable stainless steel.  The ceiling comes standard with two energy efficient recessed lights that illuminate the interior during use.  Features, such as the stainless steel handrail and baked enamel walls, add quality and durability to every car.  Each LU/LA elevator is precision built to assure the owner's complete satisfaction.

DRIVE SYSTEM:  Single or three phase motor minimum of 5 HP, 1750 RPM, 208/230 VAC.  1:2 Roped hydraulic unit utilizing two 3/8" 7 x 19 steel core aircraft wire ropes integrated into a rams header sheave mounted to a 90 mm hydraulic cylinder.  Constant displacement pump and 2-speed hydraulic control valve.
