meet the minimum criteria you may purchase the Summit or the CITIA Stair Lift
we will have it drop-shipped to you so you install it yourself or have a local handyman install it for you--and
save! Minimum criteria: 1. Must be able to lift 100 lbs. from truck to stairs. 2. Must have 110 vac outlet on same side of stairs. 3. Must be able to complete order form and confirm stair configuration. 4. May need to send photo of stairway via email. 5. Must be able to follow installation manual and install per diagrams. 6. Must have proper tools; Drill, Wrenches, Allen tools and Screw

safety sensors stop the lift in either direction should it strike anything on the stairs. The seat is equipped with a seat
belt and a safety switch that prevents the unit from running unless the seat is in its proper position. The aircraft cable
has mechanical and electrical safeties to stop the lift in place and shut down the power if the cable is not at its proper
tension. Limit switches shut the unit off in the same place at the top and bottom of the stairs automatically. 2. Comfort: The Summit stairway lift
has a wide, thick, padded seat available in vinyl or rich, leather upholstery that folds up when not in use. The large rocker
switch on the arm of your choice and a 180-degree swivel seat make using the lift simple.
3. Reliability:
Each part of the Summit stairway lift has been designed to make sure you can depend on your lift when you need it
most.
4. Flexibility: The Summit stairway lift can be placed on either side of a staircase.
Standard call controls are mounted on the floor at each end of the staircase and can be foot operated or can be placed on
the wall and operated by hand. 5. Maintenance-Free: As strange as this may sound for a mechanical device,
there simply isn’t any maintenance for the Summit stairway lift. No grease, no oil, no powders, no lubricants, no parts
designed to need upgrading, no battery replacements, no maintenance of any kind. The gearbox on the Summit Lift is completely
sealed, preventing the possibility of oil leaking onto your carpet. _______

Explanation of Measurements for your self-installed
stair lift:
1 - Overall Length of Staircase
Note: This should be a straight measurement
from the nose of the top step to the floor, at the foot of the stairway.
2 - Staircase Width
Note: You many find that your staircase width varies
a little, over the length of the stairway. Record the measurement at its narrowest point.
3 - Clearance at Bottom of Staircase
Note: A minimum of 24" is required
for this measurement.
4 - ‘Rise’ of One Step
Note: Height of one step. This may vary
slightly, so measure several steps part way up the stairs and take an average.
5 - ‘Tread’ of One Step
Note: Depth of one step. This may vary
slightly, so measure several steps part way up the stairs and take an average.
6 - ‘Diagonal' of One Step
Note: Distance between the 'noses' of
two ajacent steps. This may vary slightly, so measure several steps part way up the stairs and take an average.
